In 2018, Africa Matters launched it's inaugural Africa Matters Ambassadors Program (AMAP).  AMAP is a youth leadership development program which took place in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Rwanda and Kenya. It equipped 7 ambassadors with the skills, training and monitoring to lead four social empowerment projects in their communities, as well as assist the AMI to open youth hubs in these four new countries. From these hubs, Ambassadors have hosted workshops and school talks, connect with organizations and experts and led projects that could better their respective communities.
