Twitter Responds: President Muhammadu Buhari supports the sacking of 22,000 teachers in Kaduna State

On Monday the BBC reported that Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai had decided to fire 22,000 teachers. Two-thirds of teachers tested had failed to score 75% or higher on assessments given to their 6-year-old pupils.

Hundreds of civil servants led by President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) protested the decision and the state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Teac‎hers (NUT) threatened the government with industrial action, but this morning President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his support for the decision.
